This book, a tribute to his father's memory published on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of Cesare Zavattini's death, collects the photographs taken by his son Arturo in a long path of affectionate existential and intellectual acquaintance.
Arturo Zavattini
(Luzzara, 1930) Son of the writer, painter, director and cultural organizer Cesare, he was, as well as a photographer, operator and director of photography, working with important Italian and foreign directors and filming the only feature film directed by his father, La Veritàaaa, in 1982. As a photographer, he was part of the first expedition of the ethnologist Ernesto de Martino in Lucania, in 1952. Arturo is the curator of the Cesare Zavattini Archive.
