Synopsis

In this photographic travelogue, the authors go on the trail of Antonio Tabucchi, from Lisbon to Cascais, from Coimbra to Porto, passing through Barcelos, Cabo da Roca, Espinho. Armed with a camera and books by Antonio Tabucchi, Paolo Di Paolo and Michela Monferrini went to look for the writer in the country he had chosen: the Portugal of Pereira Declares and Requiem.

Paolo Di Paolo
(Roma, 1983) Author of several books, including Dove eravate tutti (Feltrinelli 2011, Premio Mondello), Mandami tanta vita (Feltrinelli 2013, finalista Premio Strega) and Una storia quasi solo d’amore (Feltrinelli 2015). He is also the author of plays for theater and children's books, including La mucca volante (Bompiani 2014).

Michela Monferrini
(Rome, 1986) Finalist at the Subway Poetry 2005 and Campiello Giovani 2008 Prize. She is the author of the novel Chiamami anche se è notte (Mondadori 2014, Calvino and Zocca Giovani Prize finalist), of the literary guide Conosco un altro mare. La Napoli e il Golfo di Raffaele La Capria (Perrone 2012) and the book Grazia Cherchi (Ali&no editrice 2015). She works in the editorial field.
