Synopsis

In Bloom is a vibrant and joyful book that does not miss any of the important issues underlined by Eleonora Calvelli's photographs. The book recounts the daily life of thirteen families, and their efforts towards the recognition of their civil rights in Italy.

The stories of these couples tell us about assisted fertilization techiques: artificial insemination, egg donation and surrogacy. But, above all, this book is about the way love has shaped their families.
