In the spring of 2000, Lidia was diagnosed with cancer. In the last two years of her life, until February 14, 2005, the day she died, she was accompanied by her son Maurizio Cogliandro, who documented with his camera every moment of the illness.
The images welcome us with determination and respect in the privileged dialogue between a mother and her son, evoking a unique but universal bond.
