In this book dedicated to Rome Paionni created a series of images with an unusual and distinctly antique touch. Free from all modern intrusions, they recall elements almost unchanging over time, extraordinary expressions of thousands of years of history and culture.
Angelo Paionni
He began his photographic work in 1972, directing his research towards the analysis of various urban aspects. He dedicates to Rome images with an almost ancient flavor, but above all captures with his works those 'magical atmospheres' that recall elements remained unchanged over time, an expression of the places, history and millenary culture of the Eternal City.
