Geografie della rigenerazione umana e urbana

Italy is undergoing many changes in all its great morphological, economic and cultural complexity. Exploitation of the territory, urbanization, depopulation, gentrification, sustainability and new models of economic development are complex processes in progress and already subject of study and in-depth analysis. On the one hand, the pandemic has accelerated these macro trends. On the other hand, it has introduced new needs and brought out critical issues that are still difficult to precisely identify.

This volume collects the works of the winner of the open call promoted by Sistema Festival Fotografia, in the frame of the project RESET. Sistema Festival Fotografia racconta la società contemporanea: Francesco Andreoli, Jean-Marc Caimi e Valentina Piccinni, Mattia Marzorati, Benedetta Donato, Mario Cucinella e Maurizio Carta. RESET is the first chapter of a much-needed and ambitious project that analyzes contemporary Italy through photography and aims to activate critical thinking through which to re-read the landscape, the territory and society of the country.
