Born in Tuscany in 1943 but educated in Palermo, he graduated in architecture in Rome, where he began his activity as a photojournalist in 1967, at the dawn of the 1968 movement. He has followed the Italian and international news throughout the 1970s, always as a freelance. In Milan since the early 1980s, he has collaborated, always as a freelance, with the most important magazines. Since the early 1990s he has been traveling all over the world especially for geographic magazines. His more personal books are: A Portuguese Story, Randazzo/focus 1987, Macondo, Postcart 2013, Faces of Cavallino Treporti, Edifir 2013, Gino De Dominicis, Zodiaco 1970, Nero editore. He currently lives in Bracciano (Rome).
