She lives in England, between London, Leeds and Yorkshire. She initially studied theatre and performance, working for a number of years as an actor with an experimental Polish theatre company. Upon her return to England in 2006, she decided to attend an MA in Photography at the London College of Communication. Since then she has exhibited widely and won a number of prestigious awards. The essentials of her poetics are the concept of the scene, the attention to detail and to the small fragility and brutality of which the life of contemporary man is made. In her work, she combines a documentary approach to a taste for staging and fiction in order to create stories in which reality and fantasy merge. For her stories she often draws inspiration from newspaper articles, personal stories, conversations and everyday life.
