Born in Trento in 1965. He is a professional artist and teacher at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. He lives between Rome and Trento. After having attended the Academies of Venice, with Emilio Vedova, and Florence, he soon began a professional path that saw him work with numerous galleries in Italy and abroad. The center of his poetics has always been an obsessive digging into the events of his biography, where he finds strong relationships with cinema, literature and collective memory. He prefers the use of painting and drawing, but on several occasions his projects have been expressed through sculpture, video and photography. Over the years his work has been exhibited in numerous private and public spaces, among the latter: MART, Rovereto; Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, San Marino; Palazzo dei Diamanti, Ferrara; Civic Gallery of Contemporary Art, Trento; Fortress of Bard, Aosta; CIAC, Gennazzano; Complex of the Vittoriano, Rome; Museion, Bolzano; MAG, Riva del Garda; National Gallery, Cosenza; Kunstverein, Aschersleber; Aci Castle, Catania; Contemporary Art Museum, Sassari; Sarcinelli Palace, Conegliano; Museum of Modern Art, Gazoldo degli Ippoliti; Palazzo Libera, Villa Lagarina Rovereto; S. Agostino Museum, Genoa; Traklhaus, Salzburg; Fabbrica del Vapore, Milan; New Fortress, Livorno. Currently his work is mainly represented by the Kips Gallery, New York; Effearte, Milan; D406 Modena.
