(Potenza, 1974) He began working as a photojournalist in 1998. Over the years his work has been published by the most prestigious national and international newspapers. He has focused his interests on multiple topics. In particular he has dealt with news, conflicts and social issue. In 2002 he moved to Moscow. This experience marks his professional growth and his way of photographing. In 2007 and 2009 he won the World Press Photo with images of Beirut and with a reportage on Abkhazia. He has been a member of the Contrasto agency staff since 2001.
