(Milan, 1945) Photojournalist, she starts in the early seventies with a glance to the feminine world, to the working woman, to the demonstrations for divorce and against the clandestine abortion, to domestic space, to aggregations and counselling centres besides the breakthroughs made by Psichiatria Democratica and by Franco Basaglia. Her images were issued on news organizations such as Effe, Noi Donne, Amica, Due più, L’Espresso, Panorama, Il Quotidiano dei Lavoratori. As photographer and editor of audiovisuals she took part to group and personal exhibitions. Between the recent ones: Donne-Immagini 1974/1979 (2008-2009), The other glance (2016), The long ‘68 (2018), The Unexpected Subject- 1978 Art and Feminism in Italy (2019), Far Back Must Go Who Wants To Do A Big Jump (2020). After a period in which she works mainly in her photo studio, in the years 2000 she starts again to work as a journalist and is fully involved in a co-operation with women associations, revealing through photography and documentary such as Law 194. What women want (2013), in a comparison between yesterday and today: diversities and similarities and against stereotypes and abuses.
