
(Palermo, 1982) In 2006 he realized his first photographic project Terra Aria. In 2009, after winning a photography scholarship, he moved to Florence to attend the International School of Photography APAB. From 2010 to 2012 he was commissioned by Patrizia Stagnitta, to create a video on Sicilian poets, with music by Giovanni Sollima. He attended the European Institute of Design in Rome and Milan, where he furthered his interest in advertising and portrait photography. Between 2013 and 2014, in Palermo, he began working his project Le donne del digiuno. During the same period, invited by photographer Letizia Battaglia, he portrayed women writers, magistrates, sisters or mothers of the victims of the Mafia. He is currently working on a new project about Italian poets, and is creating portraits of judges, from Gian Carlo Caselli to Pietro Grasso, who have dealt with the major lawsuits against the Mafia in recent decades. He lives in Florence.
